This year marks 10 years in business and, with probably the strongest and most talented team we’ve ever had, we couldn’t be prouder. We’re massively grateful to everyone who’s been part of the journey from the team that bring the shops to life every day, to the clients who’ve backed us from day one.
We opened in 2015 with a simple goal to raise the standard of barbering in Edinburgh and create a space where proper barbers could do great work in a welcoming, relaxed environment.
What started as a single shop on Dundas Street quickly grew alongside our team and our clientele. Now, with four locations across Edinburgh Old Town, New Town, Haymarket and Bruntsfield, we’re still rooted in the same values quality cuts, good people and a chilled atmosphere.
Rag & Bone comes from Rob’s grandfather, a Rag & Bone man who repurposed what others overlooked. That mindset still runs through everything we do stripped back, honest, and built with purpose.
We’re proud to be a Scottish brand, built in Edinburgh and shaped by the people and culture around us. This city has always had serious talent, and we’ve been lucky enough to grow within it. The work never stops. We’re always refining, always improving, because first impressions matter and so does the last one.
We’re not a chain and we don’t answer to shareholders. Just a team of barbers who care about the craft and each other, pushing things forward without losing what made us in the first place.
